The Art of Programming - NFPK fonds

A new idea. 'The Art of programming' - is the meaning of this that all the programmers become artist???

My question about this is - what the artist than do?

Next question - if the producer and the programmer becomes closer - what does that mean for the artist?

Do the system still need artists or does the artist need the system?

It sounds of controlling the whole thing instead of reacting on what is going on.

i think
1 the funders try to close a gap between producers and presenters, because they feel artists are falling in that gap, presenters dont present what producers produce or something like that
2 also, there is an art of presenting, i think (to do it well, to do it in a specific way)
3, the questions is wether all this is about finding and motivating audiences for art and art for audiences
or
4 it is about something else?

curators being more important than artists is a temporal phenomenon, relating to specialisation processes and marketplace effects
the question is, how do we find place and time for art in a world that is more and more a celebrity cult
(wether artist, curator or soon also in the theater: famous audience memebers doing the marketing)

just a quick note, shoot me if you want
i have many lives
